A Pair of Medal Boxes

This pair of medal boxes was a commission for the Office of the Sheriff in NSW.

Both boxes are identical except for the size of the medal place holder and the engraving on the plaque. They are made from Tasmanian Blackwood and have solid brass hinges with integrated stops to hold the lid open at 90 degrees. The plaque is Rock Maple and the insides of the box are finished with black flocking.
